A few months ago at the end of a day of training I asked all the direct sellers who were there to stand up. They all did. I then asked them to remain standing if they wanted a coaching program that would assist them to stay on track with everything they learned that day.

I had direct sellers on my team who did that, but I personally never did.

What it all came down to was that I truly loved being home with my four children. I didn't want to be out four nights a week away from home.

However, I really did want a HUGE direct sales business.

By the way, I did achieve my goal of having most nights home with my family and having a really big direct sales business, and I achieved it really quickly.

Well, at least to me it seemed to happen quickly - I joined a company in July of 1992 and in 1995 my team sold 1.4 Million Dollars.

The way I see it, within two years I built a team that was able to go out and PRODUCE BIG RESULTS!

My husband and I were rewarded with an amazing 10-day trip to Greece and Turkey for those results.

To this day that trip remains our favorite trip together because we couldn't afford to go on a honeymoon when we got married.

Even though I had great success in the direct sales company I was with, I frequently heard from other direct sellers in that company that I was in the wrong business.

People kept telling me that I needed to be a trainer and speaker.

A few years ago I finally felt ready to do what people kept telling me I should.

After working with direct sellers from numerous companies, one thing has become very clear to me.
